Day Two!
This time the message says, “Never forget that you’re perfect.”
The whole experience of today was totally different… My sister and I first chose an elderly man to give a picture to, but when I handed it to him and got off of the subway my sister said that he simply dropped it. He didn’t even open it. At first I was upset, but then I realized that there are going to be people like that. That sometimes it’s going to take a little more work to cheer someone up. That’s why the second person that we tried really impacted me. Looking at the pictures of him after he read it, he clearly isn’t smiling. But in the second one he just kind of looks up with an expression on his face that suggests that maybe things in the world will be okay. Maybe I’m hoping for too much in his look… but that’s just what I see.
